Installing a new fireplace is a BIG DEAL. And, I had a stacked stone project that needed to be coordinated. You need a company you can trust and depend on from the initial store visit, to selection, to installation to follow-up after Regional Inspection is completed. All interaction with Western Fireplace was friendly and professional. The installers worked with the masons to answer any questions they had. The installers knew exactly what had to be done without question, and were very neat. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Now, to wait for winter so I can fire up the new NatGas horizonal fireplace that replaced a "traditional" style fireplace.

Showroom had the gas stove and the sales person could turn them on and demonstrate the Ember- 7 yr tech. Price was comparable to other bids. I would need some room to write about the good things I like with Western Fireplace.

Western Fireplace was an excellence choice for a wood stove. The entire process from choosing a stove, getting an estimate and installation could not have gone any better. We were impressed with each person we dealt with throughout the entire process. The installers were the highlight: knowledgeable, respectful, hard working, informative and just a pleasure to be around. They made sure everything was just the way we wanted it and did an excellent job.
When the insert didn't fit you worked hard towards a somewhat unconventional work around that saved the day. Kudos for thinking and performing outside the box. Now we have a woodburning insert that works great.

love the product but customer service sucks cannot get help with service or help me remedy the problem with my stove I would never do business with this dealer ever and I would tell anybody else the same these people will take your money then later down the road tell you sorry we can't help you but here is someone else that might have a great day. that's the response I got from them. That is after spending over 5000.00 dollars there never again now I got a 200-pound piece of cast sitting in my home I can't use.

Unfortunately after 5 fires the Baffle Cap fell off. My husband had to put it back together. I thought it was excellent work, but was concerned when that fell off after only 5 fires.
Great product. Great service. Wish they wouldn't have cut such a big hold in the roof for the vent. Made it very hard to seal up properly.
The overall experience was good. The final price came in considerably lower than estimated. The installation happened exactly when originally planned but the workmanship was disappointingly shoddy (the guys were professional but I think they were just having a bad day). In all, I love my new Vermont Castings gas fireplace!

Product is great. I love my gas fireplace. The staff doing the job get a very mixed review because they did not clean up afterward nor did they relight my furnace causing a huge problem. I had to call a plumber.
Good, clean installation but... During windstorm after install- outside flap on vent started rattling LOUD. Could not get any one to come & check it out for about 10 days... and was advised not to use. Not happy. I was able to get neighbor to press flap down, so I could use.

I had to call back because cold air was coming around insert. Man make adjustments. Told me how to restart if blackout. I am 82 years old and I can't lift the front of the fireplace if blackout. If I had been informed of the weight, I might not have bought the insert.
Absolutely thrilled with the fireplace and the entire process was smooth, timely and very professional! Adam and John were amazing in building out the wall and running the chimney flue through the back of an upstairs closet. Scott did an incredible job with the drywall and matching the existing texture. Josh set up the electrical and even gave me an additional outlet, a premium in an old house! Jack did the final set up to the insert and I finally have a lovely fireplace that makes a big difference in keeping my front room toasty and warm! Couldn't be more happier or pleased with the fantastic service and product!

Both are professional, detail oriented, and gave me options regarding unit trim and control placement during installation. Electrical sub did a fine job as well. End result=very satisfied customer.

This wonderful experience of a new fireplace went up in flames when installation did not pass inspection. Work had to be fixed. Then the cap to the chimney was measured wrong so they installed the wrong size. Rain storm came in that night. It was like a shower coming down the chase soaking the entire new unit and water on to my new carpet. Never tool responsibility for the error. For the fire up they one person called to confirm the time and all was good. My husband called an hour later and found oit our custom doors were "mistakenly" sent to one of their dealers which they did not convey on the original call. Almost end of day their remedy is order us new doors and put on temporary doors that don't look like the ones that go with the unit. We spent almost 10K and received poor service. Everyone involved took the fun and excitement out of this long awaited home project. Never would I recommend this company.

Customers spend 3-6K on a gas insert with no adjustable flame, then you have the nerve to charge them another $150 for the cheap remote in order to have access/ability to adjust the flame....

The estimator (Randy) who came to the house discussed the product with me to determine which one would best fit my needs, took measurements, went to his van and gave me an on the spot estimate. No waiting two weeks like we did at another fireplace outlet. Once the price was agreed upon, there was no waffling or hidden expenses.The installation was scheduled the following week, which was far sooner than expected. I'll give Western 5 stars. After tasking to Tom, we decided to purchase. After insert was installed, we couldn't be happier with results. Installers did a fantastic job. Prestoln was one of my students when he was in middle school, so it was extremely nice to talk to him and see how he has grown up.. All of our friends who have seen fireplace say it is beautiful. Last month, Western Fireplace agreed to replace the fireplace insert we purchased from them in 2010. Even though the insert was no longer under warranty, they replaced it at no cost. We are SO grateful! This is a wonderful company that believes in customer satisfaction.
