I bought a Maax 470 Hot Tub from Classic Pool & Spa in 2009. I have cleaned and maintained the tub on a regular basis. During this ownership I have had to regularly had the gaskets replaced .This occurred 2011, 2014, 2018, and 11/03/2020. The gaskets are plastic rings that break down due to the chemicals in the hot tub reacting with the plastic. In every instance, I had their company come out and make this repair. As you can see, this took place between every 2-4 years. I had always look at this as a necessary repair, and had no problem with it UNTIL TODAY!! Today, March 8, 2021, FOUR MONTHS after my 11/03/20 service, the hot tub began to leak. (historical due to a gasket malfunction.) Obviously WAY short of their normal longevity. I called Classic Pool & Spa, and ask them to please send a repairman to come out and repair either a faulty part, or a faulty repair. I explained that the gaskets averaged 2-4, and this last one only lasted FOUR MONTHS! I felt they should repair/ or replace the gasket with NO labor charge. But, if something else was broken, and the problem was not the gaskets, I would gladly pay the labor charge. Their reply.... I 'M SORRY THAT PART ONLY HAS A 90 DAY GUARANTEE, and it's now past that, so NO, we expect you to pay the labor charge again if we come out. If that's the kind of company policies you want to be involved with, where they take NO RESPONSIBILITY for things that go wrong on their end of a deal, then buy a product from them. Otherwise I would strongly suggest you stay away from Classic Pool & Spa!!!!!!!! Buy the way, I bought a new cover from them in 2013, and chemicals for the last 12 years, today they lost me as a PERMANENT COSTUMER. Good business practices? I don't think so

This was my first time at Classic Pool & Spa. I recently purchased a new house and it came with a hot tub. I have never owned or cared for a hot tub before so I had questions. A friend told me that they would test my tub's water for me and then tell me what it needed. They did just that. They had printed out a report of my tub's water analysis, with instructions on how and what to add to make it safe. I had taken a picture of the chemicals that I had on hand before heading to the shop, so they took that into account, and only sold me what I needed. Great customer service and reasonable prices, I would recommend Classic Pool and Spa to anyone needing help with their hot tub/spa.

I bought a small spa recently and needed to find out how to start the water treatment chemicals (have never done it before). Went in for products and advise and was very impressed by the professionalism and knowledge from Jason. He set me up with the products and a plan for my new spa. The test strips I got with the spa were not exactly accurate so I brought in a water sample the next day to see what it needed. I was again helped with great service and I would recommend anyone to shop there.
